Broadbents (Stockton Heath) Limited (trading as Broadbents) has been retailing fashion and fashion accessories since 1903. Excellence in customer service is a hallmark of our Company and we wish this excellence to be as much part of our On-Line shop as it is within our retail stores.

Making A Purchase
We wish to make your purchase as straight forward as possible. After viewing our Online Store, click on any items that you wish to buy and put them into the shopping cart. When you have made your selection, click on "Checkout" and you will be asked for a few details that we need to be able to satisfy the order. If the "Add to Cart" button does not appear the item may be out of stock - please contact us and we will advise on availability.
We accept Credit Card payment via PAYPAL. However you may send your Credit/Debit card information by telephone. We do not accept payment by Cheque. We will only charge for any item when it is ready to be dispatched. Backordered items are not charged until they are dispatched. We will try to dispatch your order to you within 3 working days of receipt of order, but if for any reason we cannot dispatch goods within 7 working days, we will inform you by e-mail. Should this be un-acceptable, the order can be cancelled. A full refund will be made on any payment sent / received.

Please note the product code, colour and description, telephone (01925 263727) your order through to us, complete with your Credit/Debit Card details, contact name and address and full delivery instructions.
Delivery Schedule
We guarantee that all confirmed orders will be despatched within 3 working days of receipt.
The telephone order line operates 9.00 am to 5.30 pm Monday to Saturday
Orders placed before 4.00 pm Monday to Friday will be dispatched (where stock allows) the
following day.
Orders placed after 4.00 pm may not go out the following day. However, if an item is required urgently and SPECIAL / NEXT WORKING DAY DELIVERY is required, please specify delivery date required when placing your order and/or contact us with an additional email/telephone call. Wherever possible, we will try to meet your requirements.
Orders placed after 4.00 pm Friday, or on Saturday or Sunday (no telephone service operates on Sunday) will be dispatched on the following Monday, excluding Bank Holidays, when orders will be processed the following day.
Back Orders
If your item is not in stock, it will be placed on back order. You will always be e-mailed with the option
to cancel your order if you would rather not wait. On cancellation, a full refund will be made on any payment received.
Tax Charges
All items shown are inclusive of 17.5% VAT.
Credit Card Security
We use Paypal to process Credit Card payments from our customers. We do not store any credit card information on our systems.
Paypal is renowned for the provision of safe, secure online transactions.

Guarantee
We guarantee your satisfaction. All of our products come with a 14 day no quibble guarantee which does not affect your Statutory Rights.
We must be informed within 48 hours if goods were received damaged. All parcels should be signed
for 'unexamined',
If you change your mind within 14 days of receipt, we will gladly refund payment, provided:
- You have informed us prior to returning the goods
- The goods are received un-used and carriage paid
- If goods were received by you damaged, we will refund carriage.
IF YOU HAVE A COMPLAINT
If you have any cause for complaint please inform us as soon as possible by e-mail at broadbentsltd@btconnect.com, by telephone, or by letter in order that we can put things right
without delay.
All complaints will be acknowledged within 5 working days of receipt, and a decision made within
a further 5 working days where the complaint is within our power. If, for some reason we cannot deal
with your complaint within these time limits, we will give you a reason for the delay, and a date by which your complaint will be dealt with.

Broadbents (Stockton Heath) Ltd are committed to protecting information and any details that may infringe on your privacy. We will only use the information that we collect about you in accordance with the Data Protection Act 1998. Information about you is required to process your order, and second, to provide you with the best possible service. We will not e-mail you in the future unless you have given us your consent.
The type of information we will collect about you includes: your name; address, phone number, e-mail address, credit/debit card details. The information we hold will be accurate and up to date. You can check the information that we hold about you by e-mailing us. If you find any inaccuracies, we will delete or correct it promptly.
Any personal information collected on this site is only used for the purpose of fulfilling your order or providing the best possible service. Personal details will not be passed on to other companies. "Cookies" form part of the purchasing system but are not used for any other purpose.
The personal information which we hold will be held securely, in accordance with our internal security policy and the law.
Returns Policy
If you change your mind within 14 days of receipt, we will refund payment, provided:
- You have informed us prior to returning the goods
- The goods are received un-used and in re-saleable condition
- Order Reference number is quoted where appropriate
- Return Carriage at your own cost
- If goods were received by you damaged, we will refund carriage.
You may cancel your order for any reason within 7 days of your order being placed. We will refund your money within 21 days of cancellation, providing we are in receipt of the returned goods, in a re-saleable condition. If cancellation is received after posting a deduction will be made in respect of postage costs incurred by Broadbents. This does not affect your Statutory Rights as a consumer (as laid down in The Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000) .
